Olamide is a Chartered Engineer from the UK, with over 15 years of experience in design and project engineering of offshore structures. Over the decade, Olamide worked predominantly in Oil and gas sector, where she gained experience on various aspect of Front End Engineering Design (FEED); including detailed Subsea and Offshore structural designs; feasibility studies; advanced FEA; non-linear dynamic analysis; design verification & certification; structural surveys & inspections; construction engineering; asset integrity management; vendor inspections; research and development; project planning & coordination; third party verification and she has proven track record of conducting independent research, involving creation of novel algorithms.

She currently works for Wind Harvest International in Davis CA, as the Principal Engineer, with the responsibility for leading & delivering technical work streams on all design stages of projects as well as oversees the design, testing, model validation, and manufacturing of Wind Harvesters and all its diverse components.

She is also the CEO of Ginola Consult, an engineering consulting firm that specializes in providing exceptional and unparalleled services to the energy industry, tailored to clients specific needs.

She received her OND in Science Laboratory Technology and HND in Physics Electronics from Yaba college of Technology, Nigeria, her BSc in Civil & Environmental Engineering from University of Lagos, Nigeria, a Master’s degree in Subsea Engineering and her Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Aberdeen, UK.

She is passionate about creating new solutions to existing problems and advancing the state of the art.
