His Royal Highness, Alayeluwa Oba Taiwo Taiwo, (Amororo II), Onipara of Ipara Remo, played a host to the visiting delegation team of a non-governmental making quality education accessible, Values of Affordable (VOA) Education Charity Organization at his palace in Ipara Remo, Ogun State on Tuesday, 13th August, 2024.
Values of Affordable Education (VOA) is a Charity nonprofit organization registered in the United States of America and Federal Republic of Nigeria, with the organizational vision of “Empowering society via STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) programs for students and graduates.” While the mission is dedicated to bridging gap for Nigerian children. Values of Affordable Education (VOA) Charity Organization strives to help break down the barriers between our children and quality education for a brighter future.
Earlier in her opening remarks, the team lead, Dr. Grace Olutola Egbeyode informed the royal father of the main focused areas of VOA Charity. These include providing private university scholarships for STEM courses, mentoring, their Nigerian Children in White Coats (NCWC) teaching life skills such as CPR, etc., and hands-on science projects at schools.
In his remarks, the Onipara of Ipara Remo, Oba Taiwo Taiwo appreciated the team for the visit made to him and he charged them to remain focused in their organization’s charitable programs, aims and objectives for the less privileged in the society at large. A special prayer was also said for the President/Founder of VOA Charity Organization, Olabisi Adekoya (Ph.D), and for the progress of the entire organization at large.
In future, Values of Affordable (VOA) Education Charity Organization looks forward to collaborating with the Heart of Benevolence Foundation founded by Ayaoba Afolake Grace Taiwo, Olori Onipara Ipara Remo with the mission of meeting the needs of Ipara Remo children.
In the attendance at the meeting were Prince Adeniyi Akinwunmi, Secretary, Onipara-In-Council; Prince Adegboyega Osinoiki, and Omo’ba Abiola Ogundeko, Chief Executive Officer of the First Heritage Culture and Hospitality Limited.
While the delegation team of Values of Affordable (VOA) Education Charity Organization included Dr. Tola Egbeyode, (Advisor/ Board Member), Mrs. Bolanle Awe, (Volunteer, Counselor), Mr. Charles Ede (Volunteer, Technology) and Mr. Oluwadare Emmanuel (Transportation).
