Dela is a passionate software engineer dedicated to inspiring and mentoring the next generation of technologists. Born in Ghana and raised in Virginia, Dela brings a global perspective and extensive experience across Python, Django, TypeScript, Elasticsearch, Redis, and Kubernetes to help young adults grow their skills and launch impactful careers in software engineering.

 

As an engineer, Dela works on mission-critical backend systems that leverage cutting-edge technologies to improve people’s health and well-being. Outside of his technical expertise, Dela is driven by a desire to live intentionally and help others do the same. He is currently building a web application to assist people in planning their days and prioritizing their time more effectively.

 

Drawing on his Ghanaian roots and understanding of various cultures, Dela is excited to give back and provide mentorship to help the next wave of technology leaders achieve their full potential. He knows first-hand the power of education and guidance to unlock opportunities for driven young people.
